Using this drops my FPS to below 20 and makes the game unplayable. I am on WIN 7 with i7 930 and 2X GTX 760 4GB in SLI. I have tried with and without SLI makes no difference. any ideas?

In Settings>Video>Advanced. It should be DX11 by default.

I see nothing in settings (options) > Video > Advanced that could hint to DX11 or DX12. Unless you're talking about something that isn't in game.

That being said: I'm also having trouble starting the cheat. Can anyone take me by the hand and write a step by step walkthrough on how to operate this cheat?

It should be on the top in video>advanced, if not your system isnt capable of dx12.
You need to set bf1 to run borderless in video settings. Join a game then launch the downloaded exe with or without radar as admin, then press F1-F3 to toggle box, distance, health of enemies.

You gotta run the hack as admin. right click the file, run as admin.
