v175 stop working IWnet_invalidversion

Today, the day the STEAM PC Modern Warfare 2 Customers finally had their release day, the IWNet server(s) stopped functioning correctly.

PC players experiencing troubles when connecting to IWNet. When you click PLAY on the multiplayer screen you just get this "Please Wait: Connecting to IWNet" And it stays that way. We don't talking about new players. Can be all worked fine and suddenly it is "GAME OVER".

So if IWNet worked for you... don't touch anything. The problem is on Infinity Ward's side.

It's the second time Activision publishes a CoD title without providing the consumers with sufficient Master Server capacity.

We'll report when there is any "official" confirmation or information.

So, We must wait...

I got the same problem ive got a cracked version with steam...
I just downloaded undead patch cuz i can't add friens, so i thought if i download a game then i can add friends but it didnt worked so me and my friend decided to play mw2 i start up mw2 and i got the same error so i thougt " no the undead patch did this"
i deleten undead patch and rebooted pc, but it did not work . and im seeing more have this prob.

Is this only for cracked version ? or legit as wel?

oh im sorry the double post was because of the lag, i was lagging alot and yeah WE ARE HACKERS and hackers are smarter than IW guys (as i said in this thread before) we will find a another way to play for free!
