Why not switch to Linux? I'm currently running Arch Linux which I much more prefer over Windows. It's free, more secure and very customizable. The only downside is that some games won't run on it.
Use Windows 10; Prefer Windows 7

Windows 7 is the most stable, has a simplistic design also is compatible with almost everything its the real OG
i was a devoted windows 7 user, i made the switch to windows 10 pro and never looked back. i love it! the trick is disabling the bullshit that comes with it (reddit has lots of great tools for that)

W10. Why? Because it's a mix of the good old W7, but it has the nice features W8 had, without all the shitty ones it had.

Windows 10 for sure.. the UI is better
Stick with the original OS of your PC.
I've had to continuously uninstall and then reinstall/update drivers just so they can work. Even to this day, I'm doing it.
There are pros and cons with all OS' to be honest
For Windows 10
Pros:
- Microsoft working on 'fixes'
- Design & layout nice
- More 'features' available
(can't be bothered to list anymore)
Cons:
- Rushed release without proper checking for bugs etc
- Built for phones/tablets TBH so most of the drivers had problems (in the beginning when everyone upgraded)
- Random crashes now and then
- Restart time horrendous ~ shouldn't take longer than shutting down and then turning back on.
For Windows 7/8:
Pros:
- Pretty much no bugs left
- Designs great and everyone is used to it
- Little to no crashes ever
- None of the Microsoft Edge crap
Cons:
- Gonna be outdated pretty quickly ~ soon won't have any security updates from Microsoft = will be vulnerable in future
(pretty much no cons for Windows 7 TBH)
What OS' I use currently?
Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Chrome OS, Linux Ubuntu
Why I have so many? Plenty of computers at home, running different things like a server for localhost #ROTMGPrivateServer

I've had Windows 10 for a while now, and I've never had issues.
W10, no problems so far.
windows 10 runs too much intensively so stay with windows 7 and upgrade it to the latest service pack. if you look at xp that had 3 service packs im not sure if microsoft will do the same for 7
