Unlimited ammo and Unlimited Health?

I was wondering, why do you have a unlimited ammo hack, but no unlimited health hack? Some people say that Unlimited health is server sited, but why is Unlmited Ammo not server sited?

cuz if somone got unlimited health, then it ruins game 100% for everyone but inf ammo can be dealt with, and more server sided stuff=more lag i think

Thats been made before if you got a bypass ill trade an hack that has that and more so they cant see you for a privet bypass

K im going to try to explain the reason why unlimited ammo works but unlimited health doesn't

Health in the game is constantly checked by the server. Why? because it needs to be constantly updated so if damage is taken the opponents health has to be updated to everyone else's client. That means the server needs to know how much health you have so it can decide when you die when a certain amount of damage is taken relative to how much health is left

Ammo is client sided because its not essential for other clients to have ur ammo updated. Everytime you come to an ammo bay the server checks if your ammo is full or not thats the only time the server knows if you have a certain amount of ammo. Thats why hacking it is so easy because you can either record an ammo refill or just freeze the ammo to your liking. Its not like the server knows that you have unlimited ammo. Although punkbuster will because it will notice you have that specific value frozen. Without punkbuster though you would never get kicked for unlimited ammo


I know its not exactly the clearest answer but thats sort of why there is a difference between the two
