Right now they have more rights then the rest of us, they make up less than 0.2% of our population, they cause over 20% of our total crime figure, and they're breed is dying off. The only assimilated ones are marrying Caucasians causing mixed races and, the ones that aren't assimilated are dying from diseases even though they have free healthcare (they choose not to take it in spite of us)

Knowing culture =\= knowing the language.

My school teaches Japanese(I'm in the class forcefully, long story..), that doesn't make everyone in the class Japanese though. To BE Japanese, you have to live their, and take part in their culture. Which is, tbh, hard to do in Canada. Even know, what's considered Japan's culture, and not Canadian culture? After all, Canada is built around immigration. Many arts practiced there are practiced here, with few religious exception. (But does the country own the religion).

This is a pretty complex + heated debate way over my head, soh I'm not going to get involved in it.

Well i guess to be canadian is to just live there, since it's a mixed cultural country, same with the u.s. But japan or china is 1 strict culture so to be japanese or chinese you have to be part of the culture too.

Meh, hell if I or anyone else on this forum knows. I've never been there, and I doubt others have.

Mind you, my Science teacher lived in China w\o knowing their language for a year. What does that tell you about similarities in the culture?
