Is getting a custom license plate worth it?

It really depends.

For us in Australia, getting a custom plate is roughly the same amount but you also keep your car registered like once a year or something.

After adding up everything, it doesn't really seem worth it unless you have a car that fits with the plate

was just gonna say this, I know $50 is not alot , but if have the average joe car and nothing fancy it's honestly a waste. Wasteful spending is like a disease once you start you cannot stop until the course is finished

Here in Bulgaria, If you want all the symbols of the plate to be custom you pay 1000lv / 500$ per symbol. But it's 1-time payment. Only if the government decides to change the plates style you need to do it again if you want custom.
