It's entirely possible to have one, you just can't create them anymore.

There was a Glitch when Minecraft only came out. you couldve made an account with 2 letters - 1 etc. I am not risking going first because if I get scammed the account is going bye bye. Its hard getting two letter account - 1 letter account back if you send ticked to mojang. they might just lock it too.
