My school is always saying: "What we teach you, you'll be needing it in the future." Well they are teaching us what plants do. PLANTS!!! I'm studying about security. Not how to fuck plants.

School is there to help you in real life. Not all of it you will use in life but it just makes you more verbally able and non verbally able to assess situations.

Half the shit schools teach you is shit.

2 out of 3 thirds are stuff we learn at home.
the other 1 third is shit we learn at school.

Don't get me wrong 1 third is A LOT of information.

you see a wounded soldier

you see him laying down in 45 degrees square root, does he have green boots on or red ones?

I always hated what schools taught us, but then again, if you teach one man only what he needs to know, you'll get nowhere. It's like teaching a fisherman how to fish, but not telling him how the boat works, how the tides work, how deep oceans go, what to encounter, etc.

Sure it is better to point him out straight but general wisdom prevents error
