It gives you a code that you can redeem on a device. The code only lasts 2 minutes, before it refreshes. If you were to resell the account, you could connect game center / google play and sell the game center / game center account.

Wouldn't you still have access to the account? I mean I have my own coc account on two different phones, and it kicks me from one when I try to enter using my other phone.
