DITTO can now be caught in Pokemon Go!

I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND IT?

Expectedly(kinda), DITTO does not just pop up in the wild, but disguises itself as common Pokemon e.g. Rattatas, Pidgeys, etc. For all you know, your next pidgey might be a Ditto. Good move to encourage us to continue playing, Niantic!

They're generally hiding as Pidgeys, Rattatas, Magikarps, Zubats and Parases, still haven't gotten any though:/

It's REALLY rare. I still haven't got one after catching around 50 rattatas and pidgins respectively.

Indeed, they didn't announce it before releasing the dittos, and followed it up by mentioning that dittos were "discovered".
