    Talking I upgraded most of my PC parts.

    Hello MPGH. I would like opinions on this build, since I upgraded most of my parts. They will be here December 1st.

    Parts that I upgraded
    CPU - Upgraded from a intel i5 4460 3.2 GHz -> intel i5 4690k 3.5 GHz (plan on overclocking to about 4.0 ~ 4.2 GHz)
    CPU Cooler - Upgraded from stock cooling -> Hyper 212 evo
    RAM - Got another 8gb of Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM (Now have 16gb ram instead of 8 thank god)
    MOBO- Upgraded from a ECS B85H3-M9 -> "Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI"

    Parts that I didn't upgrade
    GPU - I still have the GTX 960 Overclocked with 4GB Vram
    CASE - Still have the REDBONE ATX Mid Tower
    PSU - Still have the EVGA 500w White Certified+

    Here's a picture of all parts listed.

    Opinions? Personally I really like this build. Doesn't have a 1070/1080 but will still run almost every game, so I'm happy with that. Once I get a job here soon I will upgrade it even further slowly, but this is it for now.

    That cpu, comes with a pretty solid cooler so you probably didn't need to spend the 20$ on that cooler master one. Thats a really decent mother board, i just used it in a build for my friend. Also who spends 100$ on windows 7 now a days... At least get w8

    You could save $100 by downloading Windows 7 elsewhere. wink wink

    Other than that, it's a solid build.

    Your PSU is perfectly fine, you don't need to upgrade it unless you plan on running SLI.

    I have W7 already on. Just threw it in there just cause. And I plan on Overclocking it to about 4.2 to 4.3 GHz so I decided to play it safe and buy that heatsink.

    Oh okay, yeah the 212 cooler master will definitely keep your machine cool after overclocking... It's not the most aesthetic looking cooler but it gets the job done
