how to change detected pattern?

okay so im trying to change a detected hack to make my own UD version. i already encrypted the file and it does not show up on a scan with the newest PB Sig dump that i just did. but i want to take it a step further and try to change the pattern. in the dump, it says " violation="xxxxx" pattern="(bunch of hex lines here)" am i on the right track here? i open the file in a hex editor but i cant seem to recognize the "pattern" that is registered with PB. thanks for any help guys!

edit: i found out how to change the pattern, but then the hack no longer works. any input?
