it actually doesn't redirects. So unless he doesn't sign in to his own paypal or either way (except btc, probably provide scan the barcode) there is no way he/she can continue this buying service.

I'm one of those people and just here to say he is legit, it's his choice to give his phone number out. It's a payment method so there is no reason he should stop doing this.
