    is there anyway to run my visual basic 2015 download from my MacBook ??

    Well if the software you downloaded is not intended to be used on mac and is not compatible, then you will have to find one that is compatible.

    You cannot run Visual Studio on a Mac (yet, I guess they're currently developing Visual Studio for Mac). However, there is a great alternative called VS Code and .NET Core. Those are compatible with OSX, Linux and Windows.

    Not sure if it'll help, because developing with Visual Studio on a Mac is not really a thing, but try downloading Wine. You can run Microsoft Executables on Mac with it.
