HD/Real Life pack for Minecraft

need help finding good texture pack for Minecraft or launcher that makes adding mods easy work.
Wanted to involve my GF into Minecraft and to build/survive together.

And I don't get your question. Texture packs don't really have anything to do with mods (usually).

Easiest way, and only way (pretty sure) is Forge, and all it is, is drag and drop the file into a folder called Mods (usually). Also kind of depends on the mod you are installing.

Thats alright. What you need is shaders. There are some texture packs that actually graphically work really nicely in shaders. Just download and install optifine (its a regular install like how you install regular programs). then in the .minecraft directory, create a folder called shaderpacks. Drag and drop a shader (you'll find shaders on MinecraftForums). Then launch optifine from your minecraft launcher > options > video settings> shaders > click on the shader you want.

And you'll have shaders!

I personally prefer SEUS (Sonic Ethers Unbelieveable Shaders) as it's - by far - the best shader pack around, a lot of customizations, Low settings > Ultra settings. Faithful isn't really a graphics quality increaser, it's most likely a PvP pack. I recommend John Smith or Realcraft.

Yes it is?it makes the default texture pack look awesome. I've used this pack since the beginning and still use it
