Depends, do you feel like you need to upgrade? What kind of games do you play?

I have a 1070, its totally worth it. Also make sure to get a 1440p monitor. You wont regret it.

I'd definitely go for it if money isn't that big of an issue

AMP has higher factory clock speeds (1607 MHz) compared to mini's (1518 MHz).
Besides that, I guess the price could also count as difference

If you want to go into 1440p or 144 Hz gaming then by all means. If not I would wait a few weeks and wait for AMD's Vega and see if it'll drive the prices down.

I definitely recommend picking up a 1070, I personally have an EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1070 SC and as of right now, out of the 1070's It's by far the best one. Simply because it has a factory overclock which can be OC'd more but not just that, its also about 10 Celsius cooler than the founders edition as well, and you can't go wrong with a cooler GPU.

    Conclusion:

    1080P gaming ? = GTX 1060
Above 1080p gaming ? = GTX 1070 any brand will do

How about 4k ? = GTX 1080 but be aware of power consumption

A lot of people just opt for 1440p 144Hz. It's a lot more smoother than 4k.
