    Well minecraft is a sandbox game... I mean if you want that story you have the mods available to you. And some of these mods are at a high end quality level.

    I understand that. I am not saying like change up the whole game I am saying like offer it in like a game type eg. creative,survival,hardcore.

    Well thats why they created adventure mode. For players to make their own stories and stuff. You want an official story, maybe that will come out for Minecraft 2

    A story mode would be cool to see.

    Although I think that's why Minecraft Story Mode was added since Minecraft itself is a Sandbox game so you'll have to put a decent amount of effort into changing how the game mechanics work just to add another mode.

    Shame they couldn't let existing Minecraft users also have Story Mode for a bundle.
