Bump .
I bought a DVI cable to hook it up to my monitor, though the colours look a little off. For example the black color looks a like a light grey. Its as if someone overlayed a white opacity over my screen.
Its fine through HDMI though... How do I fix it?

@Allura Right-click your desktop background and select “NVIDIA Control Panel” to open the NVIDIA Control Panel.
Select Display > Change Resolution, click the “Output Dynamic Range” box, and select “Full”(or limited, just the opposite of what is already selected).

I used a VGA cable once because my HDMI cable broke and I also had different colours. It looked different. I think there is no way to fix, just get the cable you used before.

DVI is as shit as VGA is, should be using HDMI or Display port.

One of the 4 settings https://prntscr.com/fj87te WILL work.(Reset all your monitor settings to default.)
To Change Output colour format:
Go to NVIDIA Control Panel -> Display -> Change Resolution
Look for "Output color format" and change the setting from 'RGB' to 'YCbCr444' or viceversa
To Change Output Dynamic Range:
Display > Change Resolution, click the “Output Dynamic Range” box, and select “Full/Limited"
