Depends, when I train once a day I don't use supplements, when I train 2 to 3 times a day I use amino acids in powder form.

Don't take any protein supplements, especially soy. Get protein from natural food, eggs, etc.

I don't see why whey protein isolate is in any way unhealthy. But sure, you live your life being "healthy."
