Is Tf2 Dead ???

I have friends who still play it and seem to enjoy it. I can't really say that I have ever liked it personally but each to their own I guess.

The thing to really take away is the fact that there are so little people working on TF2 at this point. 10, 15 tops.
They pushed competitive first.

dude but why is that ?? I mean there are tons of players that filled the workshop with awesome stuff and work so hard on it , can't they hire one or two of those dudes ?

Do you really think it's as easy to hire people? Just because you're developing a map, make a skin for something doesn't give them the necessary skills to code a game, coding a game =/= creativity that goes into making an equipment for said game.

what I mean that 10~15 ppl working on the game is not an advantage , they may think of hiring new ppl and I mentioned the workshop because that they are familiar with the programming , modelling , and other stuff

i mean they could hire some map makers just to make new maps, or they could do it like on csgo where the people that submit stuff that has been added to the game will get payed. and the skin/map makers get payed a heck ton of money for very limited work

Saying that the game is dead when the stats are saying otherwise is kind of dumb, just because you don't like the game doesn't mean it's dead.

TF2 is a F2P game. They will never kill it off.

If anything, when they release Source 2, they'd probably just port it to that engine
