I'd like to know this too but I'm going to assume it's a bad idea
How risky is it to go into the physical store (e.g. FinshLine) to exchange an item for a different size after getting the item refunded? Let's say I go in without a receipt and just ask for the exchange. Is there any way for them to tell that the specific item was refunded and then me getting fucked?

Without receipt - no issues. With receipt - RIP.
Receipt sounds like a bad idea....
this is why i don't refund clothes. if you do refund more clothes in the future, go to the store and try stuff on before you ruin your $500 refund.
I would go without a receipt and say that someone bought it for you(Dad.. friend..) and it's the wrong size, ask to exchange. Clothes are a pain though. but seriously try to go in-store and try them on before refunding it as Crowley typed. Goodluck!
