Once it is uploaded from a post , It becomes attached. The attachment is usually pending until approved. ]
If It is a PIC, Use Image Shack , Photobucket and copy the IMG tags and paste them in your post

If you upload to tinypic.com there wiill be a couple links .. Copy the bottom one and paste wrap "IMG" BB code around that link and save

Photobucket is a uploading picture site. If you want to kno how to take a screen shot download Snagit at Screen Capture | Snagit | Screen capture software by TechSmith it takes perfect screenshots.Then save the picture and upload it to Photobucket/TinyPic and get the direct link.
