Shooting Through Walls?

So I joined a game of Elim Pro right? Well it was one versus one, and we saw each other in the tunnel. So I rushed him and killed him, but it was really weird how I did it. When I ran, I started lagging, and when I started shooting, I was teleporting like 2 feet. Then when it said 2 kills, I teleported behind the box wall barrier shit whatever it is, and apparently all my bullets went through and killed him. Happened to me like, 4 times now.

You shot the bullets but they were sent after you lagged back behind that crate or whatever,
but when you sent the packet they were registered to be fired from the tunnel.
