i pasted iwd00 folder items to 00.iwd file in the images folder... for each one. when i play single player it works perfectly. all the models look colored correctly. on multiplayer it says different files

do i past them in Images folder in IWD? someone earlier said i have to use correct unzipping program... i used winrar.. and i made sure everything is same filesize meaning i copied... still says different files.

its all mapped for a reason. for instance, if you want team 1 to be blue, go to that folder, open the iw_00 folder, select all files, copy, open iw_00.iwd in your cod main folder, paste the files in the folder.
make sure you put everything in the correct folder. one tiny mistake will get you the files diffrent from server error.

If I accidentally pasted textures into my backup folder (lol),Will validating the game files through steam correct it?

yes, you need all parts. Download them to thesame folder, open part 1, extract anywhere you like, and ur done

Nope Its not bannable.. cuase on the steam website it says they dont ban for texture mods

All of them. Put them together and then install : )
