For everyone who has tried the Registry Edits in Hahne's guide, pls. tell me if it worked and wut ur OS.

And also crappy servers here in CF PH, soooo... idk.

I'll tell ya what... Why don't you do this? That way, after telling you that it works, you won't have to waste time trying to do it... Believe me, it works perfect.. If it didn't, there wouldn't be 50+ comments saying that it does work...

So just try it yourself, it's much more time-effective to do so. AND if you screw up your registry, you can simply do a system restore. Doing things first hand is the best way to learn how to do anything.

Go into the router settings and change the wireless channel. Your neighbor will thank you. Changing the wireless channel reduces broadcast noise, which may put large 'breaks' in the connection, dropping you from the game on the occasion. So going into the routers settings and changing the broadcast channel will reduce the noise taken in by the wireless connection. By default the channel will be channel 11. I suggest changing it to channel 6. Reason: channel 1, channel 6, and channel 11 are all farthest apart, thus when changing it, resulting in better internet connection. You can can also port forward for the game.

Not sure if I explained WHY you should change the channel, but for anyone curious, it's because that most of all other broadcasted networks are channel 11 (I have no idea personally whyl...) all other internet connections COULD be interfering with the router, or the WiFi connection you're using. If you were to change the channel that the router broadcasts on, most likely there are no other wireless networks close enough to you with that channel to bring any issues.

For those who said they've rarely been DCed, did you use Hahne's guide?

Or maybe my ISP's just crap, it's probably cause my Modem (or whatever you call it, btw it's 360+kbp/s, yes it's crap) is for residential use and is not meant to last long for like more than 6 hrs or something.

It's hot when I touch it, my ping is 20-30.
