A suggestion for IM

I believe the IM should have its own application like Facebook messenger or WhatsApp or Skype

It's easier to keep up if you know what I mean

I love this as it would prevent impersonations and scams but it has a long way

I personally use my phone more than my computer and trying to communicate on mpgh IM is frustrating because whenever I type something , it deletes everything

yes please do this it will help but i think that their is not much point for this im system i will give my reasons

1-people are on mpgh less than they are on skype meaning deals take longer if the person doesnt log into mpgh click and click chat to get your message
2-impersonating shouldn't be a problem skype buttons have been used for ages and why not just force skype buttons?
3-mpgh goes down quite a bit this database thing happens quite a lot
4-as op said you cant use the im system on mobile

now yes i know it will help with scam reports but is it really worth it? its going to make selling alot harder for me and alot of other sellers using mpgh and in my case if this im system doesnt improve alot or becomes optional im going to stop selling
look at other sites how easy it is to sell they can use autobuys and any messaging system they want i feel like selling on mpgh is becoming a pain more and more

i know if your a buyer you might not be able to understand this as much bit if your a seller i think you should

I agree with you but at the same time I hope that the IM system (at least the general section) is for random talk, a bit like a skype chat. Sells is going to be a big part of it as well and if the MPGH team is willing to go that far I think that they should get a standalone/upgraded database (more protected) because it's offline all the time and sellers are going to have a harder time selling stuff over the site (as @dipdap said). It's up to them.

Incorrect, it's 2018. It's written in a framework that makes it possible to make a standalone app and a SPA.

Skype is soo much easier and we made a fortune with skype, to be honest IM is so bad :/ i hope you get skype back and IM is OPTIONAL.
