Eden is very good.
I'm on episode 5 and it's kept me interested so far.
Wow. At first i thought, "oh its another I am Legend series", but WOW, like HOLY FUCKING SHIT wow.
Not only does the story actually HAVE realism, actual REALISM people, not fucking ninja's with magic(who apperantly are so fucking childish the only way to kill people is to face them head-on), not fucking "death gods" who apperantly only number enough to make a city(leaving me to question the serious lack of manpower), and not fucking pirates who eat fruit(nuff said).
For once, i'm just happy that the series is told correctly. It may be a bit slow at first, but hey, i'm cool with that. Honestly there are too many flashy anime out there, showing "powers" and shit. I'm so sick of all those fucking manga, who the fuck cares if you came up with an idea that took 5 minutes?
The art isn't top-notch, but finally the story is. Finally, finally at last i can read a manga that i'll enjoy storywise. I mean don't get me wrong, Death Note and all those other "thriller" type storylines are great and all, but fuck, they aren't classics to me.
*sigh* realistic approaches are refreshing. I mean this shit could actually happen.
I recommend this manga to all, with the warning it starts out slow.
Note: Those with dull sense of manga might not like this one.
"Eden is an amazing seinen series set in a post-apocalyptic setting in the near future. Disease has wiped out entire cities, and morals, ethics, and everything we believe in today's world is thrown out the window in Eden. If you can make it past the slow start, you're in for one unforgettable story."

I might read this.
~
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." John 15:18
Warning, does contain "sex scenes". Although i found some of them hilarious and cute, i think that it goes without saying that this manga isn't for kids.
Now that may turn some away, that may turn some towards, either way you should know.
(volume 8 has the author go "oh yeah btw, there's sex scenes a plenty in this one).
I'm not gonna give away plot, so no spoilers.

I don't get 60% of the manga. Maybe I'm reading too fast..
Only at chapter 9 atm though.
Well here is the catch. Volume 1 is important, but its like the prologue of the series. Volume 2 is Action, but without volume 1, most of the story in general lacks a lot of substance and mood.
You'll get it later, the second volume is WTF'ish, and then it fills in the gaps in the later volumes.
