    Unable to launch Crossfire (without hacks)

    Hi guys,

    I recently downloaded and tried to launch crossfire NA, but I'm getting an error "client MFC has stopped responding"

    After it patches, xigncode loads, but then I get stuck on a black screen and then the client stops responding and it gives me that error.


    I'm using Windows 10.


    I've tried running as administrator, changing compatability mode, and uninstalling+reinstalling multiple times.

    Nothing has worked. How do I fix this?

    I'm not looking to load any hacks, just want to launch the game regularly.

    I suggest you downgrade your OS to Windows 7 and install Direct X and c++ redistributable.

    Try this:
    ->Right click on the crossfire launcher
    ->Go to "Compatibility" tab
    ->Change settings for all users
    ->Check run this program in compatibility mode...
    ->choose windows 7 & run this program as admin
    Match game resolution with your windows resolution
    If nothing helped your copy of the game is bad. Complete unistall/Delete any folder of crossfire and reinstall.

    Please try these steps to see if the issue corrects itself:

    1) Uninstall the game completely, and delete Z8Games folder from your program files folder
    2) Perform system cleaning (Ex. Using CCleaner)
    3) Disable your Anti-Virus real-time protection
    4) Re-download the newest version of the game
    5) Install the game
    6) Add CrossFire and CrossFire folder to your Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions list
    7) Close all programs running in the background
    8) Re-enable your Anti-Virus real-time protection
