Spawn rate, HoT, DoT glitch is patched?!

I've been botting and using this trick for a long time but I haven't played since getting my Void Highlord, so about a year and I was wondering if the Spawn rate, HoT, DoT glitch is patched or am I just doing it wrong? From what it was before you just need to join a room XXXX then let another account camp there while the other joins the room repeatedly for 5-6 times.

Did this glitch 10 or so hours ago and worked perfectly fine.

Those are the steps:
-have at least 1 player stay in the room
-let's say you wanna glitch lair so type lair--5646 (with double - ) then copy it.Now join your house then CTRL + V lair--5646 into your chat box and press enter.Now do this 10-15 times.You need to do it fast.One player alone can glitch the room,idk if more players doing this all at once will break it or not.

Now if certain monsters stopped spawning,someone must leave the room then join again.Monsters will spawn again if a random player joins the glitched room.
If you can't attack,leave then join the room again but like this lair-5646 (without double - ).

It wasn't patched yet it doesn't work as good and it used to. Like DoT is lessened.
