Blu-Ray isn't necessarily 30 gigs. The discs are 50GB and the movies don't use up all of that space, its also for special features and shit, stuff people have been wanting to do with DVDs since they came out but never could because there wasn't enough space. Once again, HD-DVD = 30 or 35 gigs, Blu-Ray = 50GB. But yes, of course, both come in super-hi def...So long as your TV supports it.
