lan is local area network. its ppl that are close to u. U can also play mw2 LAN offline. the point is to play with friend if u were not able to connect thru ip

i want to use the alteriw server with the latest mw2 1.2.280,i tested 1.1.195 and it worked,but the 1.2.280 it stay at Connecting IWNET...i changed the hosts file,as i said, the 1.1.195 worked,do i have to change something in the executable or the alteriwserver have to be modified/updated for the 1.2.280?

please help me if is possible.
