Tips To a Successful Clan

There are billions of ways someone could advertise or build an awesome/successful clan.
I'm posting this thread to give a few tips and pointers on how to do so.



[1] The clan name!
-make the name stand out! You can do this by using different characters such as alternating uppercase and lowercase letters, replacing letters with numbers (Ex. 3=E, 4=A, etc.) and adding other different symbols Combat Arms allows.(Ex. ~, -, _, etc.) A clan name color change, (which can be bought with nx,) will also make your clan name burst. (You wanna make sure the clan color matches the clan emblem color though. If not, it will look kinda lame.)

[2] Exploiting your clan name!
-there are many ways to do this. Such as making a clan website using these links:

(Remove spaces.)

You can also use the 'notepad method.'
Steps:
•Open up wordpad or notepad. (Really doesn't matter.)
•Type in a good clan advertisment. (Make sure you include the requirements, level, and benefits of the clan; such as mic, wogl, activity, etc.)
•Highlight the text, right-click, and select copy.
•Open up Combat Arms and enter a Server>Channel. In the text field, press ctrl+v at the same time. Your advertisment will pop up, and you just hit enter. (Yes this is considered spam if you do it in the same channel over and over again. I highly recommend to not do this. Just change servers and alternate channels.)
The final way to advertise in-game is the super megaphone. (Include requirements, level, etc.) You can also alternate colors with the super megaphone to make your announcement pop.


[3] Clan advertising forums.
-luckily, the most popular hacking website (MPGH) has an amazing clan advertising section. Just start a new thread and in the body, type in your clan info, requirements, blah blah blah.

[4] Clan montages!
-clan montages really help the clan's popularity. Just use screen recording software (fraps, hypercam, sonyvegas, etc.) during a clan war and then post it on youtube! People who are skilled and avid Combat Arms players are sure to watch it.

[5] Recruiting sessions/clan practices!
-all you have to is make a room and name it "your clan name here." (for team practices: members of your clan on one side, unaffiliates on the other to show off your mad skills.) And to recruit, name it "your clan name here recruiting." And see how they play the game. (One Man Army mode is advised.)
