Meh, probably the best thing that could have happened though. When Trump beats COVID, hopefully people will realize it's not that dangerous and we can return to some normalcy.

I mean Melania prob got it from Trump. If she wears a mask its probably in public not at home so she probably caught it at home. As for Trump beating corona meaning anything. He was given a special experimental treatment from Regeneron which should help him produce a strong immune response and he is also being cared for by top doctors while he's at Walter Reed. Most Americans don't have access to such care.

That being said were at 207k deaths last I checked. Based on recent studies maybe 10% of the US population has actually been infected. So let's assume people return to their normal lives. You believe that the virus most likely won't kill you, but I presume you also understand that the virus is highly infectious. So lets say it spreads to 80% of the population (8x infection rate) and assume that deaths also go up proportionately (8x) leading to 1.656M deaths. When cases rise, theres more hospitalizations and hospitals may honestly go over capacity leading to unnecessary deaths because we don't have the resources to take care of so many infected at once so the number of deaths may be even higher. US population is about 328 million as of 2019. So if youre cool with maybe 1.7M deaths out of 328M people. Sure. Small percent of people die, but when you got a fuck ton of people, you gonna have a fuck ton of deaths. Think corona is literally the greatest loss of life ever in the history of the US. Virus doesn't need an ebola mortality rate to fuck shit up.
