M16A4
The M16 (more formally Rifle, Caliber 5.56 mm, M16) is the United States military designation for the AR-15 rifle. Colt purchased the rights to the AR-15 from ArmaLite and currently uses that designation only for semi-automatic versions of the rifle. The M16A4, now standard issue for front-line U.S. Marine Corps and some U.S. Army units, replaces the combination fixed carry handle/rear iron sight with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, allowing for the rifle to be equipped with a carry handle and/or most military and consumer scopes or sighting systems.

The M16A4 returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It behaves similarly to the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare version with some small differences. It is now unlocked at level 40 in multiplayer and its reload animation is now identical to that of the M4A1. To make it look more modernized, a Picatinny rail has been added to the carrying handle (this is, however, redundant as the handle itself is mounted on one).

You can typically tell these are bullshit by just reading some of the OP's posts out of this thread. Sure he is/or trying to be grammatically correct while making guides but out of the guides he/she/it/whoever has piss poor grammar.

Ah being right is fantastic, thanks for being illiterate and proving my point. Sure, these guides are useful to most, but at least give the necessary credits. Ps, congrats bud on doing it in this guide and only this one.
