I'm thinking I can find someone who might be able to help me with game texture compression.

The meaning of this is to purely get some textures so that I can edit them and be creative. I mean no harm to the game or it's developers.

The reason why I'm posting this in here is that the game has been coded with C++ and I suck at coding smh. I need to figure out how the game has compressed the texture files so that I can decompress them the right way. The game I'm talking about is Star Stable Online and I took the game files from the .csa files with quickbms and the files have their own formats like .pte .pme etc. The textures have been compressed with crunch but here comes the hard part. They recently modified their code and changed something and since I'm not good at coding, this is something that I need help figuring out with.
