what? i don t understand
Seeing as Specttre made one like this, I made another one.
You might ask, why?
Simple.
Not everyone installs CrossFire in C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire
Therefore, not everyone's "Report" folder will be in the same directory.
You with me?
Now in Windows there are such things called Environmental Variables, variables meaning that they can change.
Obviously the program is installed in Program Files, but what if your main drive isn't C:\?
What if you have a D:\ drive or E:\ Drive set as your main HDD?
I have acknowledged this fact, and that's why I will create a program maybe tomorrow or today that will use VARIABLES and delete the Report Folder.
Thanks me!
what? i don t understand
I understand what he means.
This is a good idea.
I believe it will identify your main HDD
then find the folder.
and empty the contents.
right?
You are correct.
But actually I'm the one that's confused right now... :P
How do I used those environmental variables in C++?
Like %PROGRAMFILES%
or %SYSTEMDRIVE%
If someone can help me with that part, I'll release a universal cleaner.
hmmm,... delete files????? thats not usefull becouse if you start crossfire the report will send to z8games...
You don't need to make a thread about you making a program. And post it in the right place. This isn't a hack release. If you need help in coding post it in the Coding section or the help section.
/closed.
