Mod Gun Textures Quick and Easy.

This is for all you people that like finishing things fast.

Note:This is best to do on guns that are not fully black(M6A2,SCAR-H,SCAR-L,etc..)

For this tutorial we will be doing the M6A2


First press Ctrl and U
This will open the desaturate and Hue and Lightness Options.


Make the Saturation about +20,and for the Hue,move the slider to whichever color you want,I will be doing green.


Now just click ok and add any thing you want to it now,Make a new layer(Layer->New layer)


Im going to add text,i suggest you find a font you like at a font website like DaFont,wont post a link because no outside links ._.and then add effects like snake skin and camo,or use photoshop brushes from websites,or yourself,because im lazy,i will use premade ones,it looks nice when you overlay a brush and duplicate the layer.I recommend to also overlay brush also.


And there you have it!A modded texture :3
This also would look good with c+p if you do that kind of thing.

how do you add effects and how do you put an image into a layer

There are other tuts on how to add affects and when you drag an image on to the canvas,it is its own layer,then just use magic wand to cut out the parts you dont want,and when you want something write this "(thing) render"
