My account was banned for 3 days for botting.
I sent an email to Artix support to figure out how they caught on, and this is what they responded with:
Your account has been banned for rules violations. Here is more information:
Ban duration: 72 hours
Ban reason: Use of illegal 3rd party programs/tools, bots.
Chat log:
*> (IGN) to (IGN) : Save State: Ensures any gold, experience, reputation, and class points gained are saved. Triggers after every 5 minutes passed.
*> (IGN) to (IGN) : Save State: Ensures any gold, experience, reputation, and class points gained are saved. Triggers after every 5 minutes passed.
Your account was recorded as sending commands to the server which can only be accessed with the use of illegal bots. This type of ban cannot be contested. If you continue to use illegal bots, you will face escalating discipline actions, which can include the permanent loss of your account.
Apparently something was sent in chat. Did one of the bots I was running have a chat command line somewhere?
I didn't see anything get sent in my chat. How can I avoid this?

Hmm, “Your account was recorded as sending commands to the server which can only be accessed with the use of illegal bots”, If you were using one of my versions of grimoire, then everyone using them may soon be at risk. They may have updated some server-side checks/etc. As they have done such before when they found it necessary.
