1.1.2, 1.2.1, and 1.3.1 save file help

This is a bit of a weird one, but I need help. So there's this small community that plays older versions of dbd. Getting those versions to work isn't the problem; it's the save file. From what I could see, there wasn't any specific save file for these version, so I told some of them that I would try to make one for them. One small problem: the save files I made for some reason don't work across accounts. Every time someone put it in the save file location, it resets the save or gives a save error. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this issue, because everything I tried didn't work, and I'm no expert in this area.
