Looking for Information on using ability items as weapons exploit

I've seen a few people do it, and i was wondering if anyone here knew how to get an ability item to be in your weapon slot.

Also wondering the same thing. And how are people like Patek not banned when they have YouTube videos of them using it, and you can even go on their realmeye and see their quiver equipped as the main weapon?
