[Hysteria]

Started out as an angry poem, decided to turn it into a rap due to excessive swearing and just a natural rap flow rather than a poem one. Enjoi?

This is about how corrupt our world is, and what needs to be done to change it.



I see problems growing everywhere like vines,
Of a posion ivy plant creepin' up our spines.
We know it's there, but we neglect it like a fetus,
Like when we look to the stars and forget about Cetus.
Noone seems to give a shit anymore about the world we live in,
And everyone's disrespectin,
their brother's and sister's with different coloured skin.
It's sad, like titanic our ship will go down,
Except we've already melted the ice bergs, it's time to drown.
But if people would just open their eye's and their hearts,
To be the change we need, even with just one person it starts.
We need to re-engineer our world cuz our civility is disappearing,
Drugs, money, hate, war, and governemtal profiteering,
I thought we abolished slavery in 1865,
Then why did we let it survive?
In Africa slave trade is plenty alive.
In school they teach you math, but you can't even solve a simple equation,
That mankind is suffering from a severe abrasion.
We need to build a new ark to survive the flood we started,
And sail the open sea's uncharted.
Find land, live life, rebuild the world on an island,
And we can imagine the future like the mind of Eric Nylund.
But this is a feat easier said than done,
We gotta convince the world to put down their guns.
And instead of hating eachother for material things,
Beauty and compasion is what the future could bring.
But only if we make it happen with our actions,
And put ourselves behind all the distractions.
Think about it, you can fight wars and become a king,
But when your downfall come's and you die what can you bring.
To the grave, none of the material shit only your memory of a genocide,
That you stood by and watched happen while you played jekyll and hyde.
You're one man on the outside, but beneath the 3 quarter suit,
Is an animal running a worldwide house of ill repute.
Abusing and using and rusing other's just to make a buck,
But what if I was abusing you're family would you give a fuck?
Hypocritical lives lead from behind the final lines of defence,
While you send the men and women trying to support their families on the offense,
You live your life with a pretense, with past progressive tense,
And all of this at another man, woman, and child's expense.
So when you're gone what legacy do you leave behind?
Other than the knowledge that you undermined.
You're own kind, a species that was designed,
With love in mind, not the hate we refined.
So you can live a comfortable life while hurting others,
Or you can live a happy life with another's,
Feelings and compasion held dear to eachother.
What I've said I made loud and clear,
That we need to begin a new frontier.
Of world peace, a world in order,
Not a world plagued by a psychosomatic disorder.
You can be the change that the world needs to see,
Just step out of your comfort zone and make the decree.
That you will stand up for the righteous and the weak,
And promise yourself from now on that you'll be unique.

Sorry for reacting so childishly. I'm just extremely bothered when someone accuses me of stealing my material. You didn't need to flat out accuse me like you did... you could have simply asked if it was mine or not, and I would have told you + proof. I'm dealing with a girlfriend with cancer, a friend on murder charges he didn't commit, and a broken fucking leg all at the same time. Excuse me for being a loose cannon...
