Click on the textbox, and look for something that says PasswordChar, and change it to what you want it to be.
In your case, make it *.
I cannot figure out how to make my password text box to show the password as *. Please help!

I'm pretty sure you know alt codes.
Fear me, For I am Death.
Add to your form_load
Code:PasswordChar = •
Or click on the textbox you want, and scroll down on the Properties, and double click
UseSystemPasswordChar
now it will use the Character everything use's
which is a BIG BLACK DOT
if you use a newer version of .NET, bottom of the properties. Set: UseSystemPasswordChar to true.
OR to do it programmatically,
txt_name.usesystempasswordchar = true
I use Microsoft Visual Studios Professional 2010. So I just clicked on the textbox, went to the sidebar properties, found PasswordChar, added *, then done! But thanks guys. XD
