Every time i read this "new prince of tennis" i just facepalm.

Elementary kids taking on highschoolers, and the highscoolers are better(naturally).

Its like some 13 year old thought up this story. I really liked PoT the first one, but this new one is just so stupid.
-It feels as if they just found someone who can draw the characters and the original author just left.

I have the original series, but whats honestly the worse part about it, is that they just really think the audience is stupid. Like tezuka's "teacher" had jet black hair and needed glasses. Now its brown and he wears contacts.(not to mention his hair is totally differnent) Like no one would notice???

Another thing is that the story doesn't make any sense. You have 15 year olds trying to compete with 18-21 year olds. At first they get schooled, then they go "train".

It doesn't help either that the artist can't draw for shit anymore. I mean half of the panels are text, and the characters look significantly worse. Not to mention all the action sequences(the main point of reading a sports manga) are half talking, half random action that has no buildup.(You don't see a serve and bam there is a serve)

This series is shit in comparison.

It should be a light novel. It's much better that way in my opinion.
I already quit reading New Prince of Tennis after chapter 12. I don't know why. I just did.

i just went back and read 5 chapters(they are really quick, almost no substance).

just like wow.......in 5 months they did nothing......
