I'm trying to mod the Sky for Snow Valley.
I'm planning to make it Star Valley (Evening star sky pic as the sky).
I used the same pic for each file for the snow valley sky files, except for each one I added a star in different places.
Here's what I did;
RezXtract TEXTURES.REZ
Convert Textures/Snow/sky files (all five) to LithTech.
Open them up with Photoshop, paste the star picture over the original sky photo. Then add a star in a random place for each picture.
Once done with one picture, save it, not save as, save, it'll remain .DTX (I have the Plugins).
once saved all pics, put them all into a folder and with DTXConvert convert everything in the folder (the pics) to Nexon.
Then RezINject them into Textures.REZ.
Put original TEXTURES.rez on desktop, and rename new one from reznew to rez.
go in game and i'm done.
but it still shows the original sky files
i'd even check by extracting the new rez and it would have the star pictures though!!
any ideas?!
