Hi everyone, i use this method to get out of the game and use console/hacks while playing , maybe want to kick a player or do something else.
Method:

1.You need a steam account, without games if you want to.
2.Add iw4mp.exe like a no steam product on games.
3.Run the game from steam.
4.While searching lobby or while playing, you can press TAB and Shift, and get to steam friends.
5. From there you can press ALT + ESC and you get out of the game.

This is very useful if you want to use HostGUI or console ingame.

Maybe you all knew this method, but for those who didnt, im glad to help.
