I have this freeze problem when running CF w/ hacks

So yea I always get this problem...my computer freezes on CF whenever I use a hack. It doesn't matter what hack. NO matter what hacks they are they never work and they work for other comptuers that have the same system as me...i run on XP SP3 and i have all important needed drivers and requirements. Its just that I really want to play CF with hacks but I always dc >.> If anyone ever had this problem and ever were able to fix it, please let me know I would really really appreciate it. idk if it is my monitor tho its a samsun t200 widescreen....does CF support widescreen monitors? I think so... thanks anyways if you can help me

It might be a graphic problem or a client problem.

Try downloading a new copy of crossfire. IF that doesn't work, try turning off all unnecessary programs. You might not have enough ram for the game to function.
