I got this, try this step
Go to Mw2 main folder
Look for a folder named " alterIWnet "
Open it
Delete everything and paste this

Server=server.alteriw.net
WebHost=auto
Nickname=YOURNAME
[Dynamic]
HackWarningShown=True

Make sure to delete the spot that has the YOURNAME typed in it and write your name.


The problem was that there is a lot of servers, I think you joined the wrong one, this one makes sure that you're in the alteriw server.

and in the cache folder
now it should update again and will work

I did move stim and i did the config that someone else posted for the alterIWnet file but i can't fnd the cache folder.

Check the aIW forums. They shud have a correct mw2 updater. The only reason u cant c players online, if im correct, yer banned or u applied patch process wrong. U can check if yer banned on the aIW forums. Ask the admin and give yer XUID

You have to download the cache folder...

It won't appear if you pray to god..
