Depends on ones perspective of camping. For me camping is like controlling A on Highrise or A on Terminal, which an LMG such as an AUG is very good for (the large ammo capacity allows you to slaughter enemy rushes). For others its just bitching it in a corner.

Rapid fire kicks the gun up too much for me, especially when my hand is always steady.

Rapid fire is the worst attachment you can have on a UMP, it causes more recoil. You aim in the middle of your screen and you shoot everywhere except on that spot where you aim.
