First sig ever

Hey i have just installed photoshop today and i made my first 2 sigs, i know they are not very good but can anyone give me tips and advice on how i can improve my next one or how i can improve my current ones.

Well seeing as it's your first it's not too bad, the rising sun effect is simple, and the rendered cloud backgrounds just makes it a nice plain beginners piece. Just keep looking at tutorials, a few of the most important concepts to learn early i would say are Depth, lighting, and focal, just look up some tutorials on them and it will point you in the right direction. You should leave text out, until you can properly use it to match with your signature.

altair? what is that? every piece of colour in the sigs were intentional. Unless there is something i have missed?

that was not intentional at first, but then i thought it looked good as it highlighted the main aspect ( the guy ) thank you for your comment but i think i will be keep it. I will definitely be keeping that in mind though for future projects

No problem, Depth/Slight Lighting Tutorial If you can start to understand bits in there then it will help you a large amount, that will then help you bring out your focal point. You can learn about more advanced lighting techniques later.

this is good for a first. practice will help you create amazing things. keep it up!
