You DON'T need such a thing.

The only thing you need it's a Steam account which contains the original MW2. (which I doubt you have)

You can't... That key is assigned to your account when you first register it, so now if you want to start playing MW2 again, Create a new account and put you new CD key on that.

PS: You will need to buy one...

can you like download a pirate version of the game, and add to the steam as nosteam game and maybe that will work?

Yes, you can add any application as a "non-steam game" but you won't be able to play on legitimate servers then.

2. reinstall MW2
3. enter new cd key when asked

Buy a NEW game... Thats the way how to play it on Steam agian.

Just enter the key into a Steam account that doesn't contains MW2, if you say you have it.
